Well until yesterday when I went to download something with Firefox it would open a window showing me all the disks on my system, and I could select any folder on any disk.

Then, suddenly, it went to just showing me a much smaller window, in which I could only select a disk. Not the folders on the disk, just the disk. This really sucks!!!!

How could that happen and how can I fix it on my Mac?

I`m running OS X 10.4 and Firefox 3.6.16

try this addon, named "down them all" instead.

Down them all was far from being a solution to my problem, and it wanted to download everything but what I was after, and it was very hard to understand or configure. In short it was terrible and a waste of time.

I just want Firefox to go back to the way it acted before when I downloaded files, that being that it showed me a choice-window with my disks in it and the folders on those disks so that I could place the downloaded file in any folder on any disk.

It quit doing that, and now will only allow me to choose a disk, and it drops the file in the root directory of that disk, not in any folder. I really hate this!

I guess I'm the only one in the world this has happened to.
