Sunday, I reset my laptop back to factory settings. I reloaded Firefox and now cannot access the second level on Intuit's training website as it loads as a picture not a web site. I tried using MS Edge and also Chrome to see if the issue was with Firefox, but all have the same issue. I white-lighted all of the Intuit domains in pop-ups in case that was the issue, which it is not.

I'm using NORD VPN and ESET for viruses.

Does anyone have any ideas?

When I go to view an already open tab it will sometimes randomly move it to the very end of my tabs all the way to the right. I don't want it to move tabs without my intervention. Clicking on a tab should keep it in place.

This has been an issue for about 2 months now. I'm not sure what's causing it or even if it's entirely a Firefox issue as I have noticed something similar happen in another program with tabs that I use often. It still seems like a Firefox issue in that moving a tab all the way to the end is a very specific task that can't normally be done accidentally.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening or has anyone figured it out?

when I play a product video on amazon, I get the following error. I don't have a problem with another browser.

The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support. this is a linux mint desktop.

First symptom: Lately, when I use Firefox on my desktop to attach a JPG or PNG screenshot to an online post, it shows up only as a black square. (The image looks normal while I'm creating the post, but it won't post - which I've confirmed by checking my feed on a different device.) This doesn't happen when I use the same version of Firefox (the latest one), also running Windows 10, on my laptop. It has nothing to do with the screenshot itself - the specific file or the file type; the same thing happens with anything I try to attach.

Second symptom: When I create a PDF with Firefox and then try to print it, a large rectangular portion at the top is blanked out, as if someone had placed a sheet of paper on top of it. This doesn't happen when I use Chrome to open and print the same document on the same computer.

My guess is that I've somehow changed one of the graphics or image settings in about:config, but I have no idea which one.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I created a tab group and saved it. After saving I confirmed it was inn the toolbar location. I used it this morning successfully. Just now I closed all my tabs in order to shut down. Doing so eliminated the tab group. It is no longer available from the toolbar. What happened?

Why won't Firefox open any new windows? I give ir the command to open a window and yet all i get are tabs and I never click on open a tab. I have an HP probook this for windows 10 and i am also having the same problem with Chrome. I have uninstalled and reinstalled chrome and that did not fix it so it is not that. What would cause this? I have already cleared the cache cookies history browsing etc. and nothing is fixing it. PLEASE HELP.

Recently I've noticed that my tabs auto refresh if I have'nt been in them for a while. I turned that off ages ago cus I hate it. Now, all of a sudden they refresh again.

accessibility.blockautorefresh services.sync.prefs.sync-seen.accessibility.blockautorefresh

Are both set to true, which I'm pretty sure was supposed to block auto refresh.

I don't know what else to do.

I'm on Firefox version 139.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 11.

Is there a way of changing/removing the independence of browser windows?

Whenever I have multiple windows and close one them I cannot retrieve them, re-opening closed tabs doesn't work, since it only works on their own window.

Is there a way to change this behaviour?

Hi, I was hoping to find out if there was a way to modify Firefox's desktop behavior so tabs could be added to a group without shifting the focus window/tab or expanding the tab group?

To help clarify my objective, my desired process is to 1. Take some number of mixed tabs 2. Sort them into relevant tab groups 3. Read/use webpages after organizing

So at step 2 it's a small interruption when each tab added to a group changes the browser focus.

As far as I can tell there isn't a way to do this in the settings or the config page but I wanted to double check

When I sign onto Firefox, I get all of the browser history displayed on the screen. How can I eliminate that and sign directly onto Yahoo.com ?

I manually pinned some websites on the shortcut row. But when I visit other websites that aren't pinned on shortcuts, they automatically get added to shortcuts.I tried unchecking sponsored shortcuts and also turning off recent activity. But yet when I visit any website that isn't pinned, it automatically gets added to the shortcut.How can I set it up so that only the website I pinned on shortcuts remains and other websites don't automatically get added on shortcut?
